How the chain works: When a work is registered, the original creator
is recorded as the genesis event. Every subsequent license or assignment appends a new
event. Full assignments transfer ownership (previous owner's row becomes "superseded").
Licenses grant specific rights without changing ownership. All events are timestamped
and tamper-evident.
Privacy: Names and transfer types are public (for transparency).
Contract terms, financial details, and email addresses are only visible to parties
of the transfer.
